What was I thinking choosing that movie?

Just tried to watch Angles and Demons. It was about to consume my brain. I'm convinced that I would make a very bad Zombie - seriously, limping around growling and moaning is never a good lifestyle no matter how delicious brain might be - so, naturally, I was horried to feel my IQ dropping dangerously close to a can of pears:

It started out with a dead Pope and then the Large Hadron Collider (Which, if you trust the film-team to be authentic in their dramatizing basically consists of big pipes, lots of beeping rods and people praying they won't destroy the world. Because let's face it, if scientists tend to do one thing when uncertain, they'd pray). And then they steal anti-matter and the Illumanti are threatening to blow up the Vatican.

Oh, by the way, the Illumanti are militant scientists that hate the church and have really awesome weapons and ape-shit executions. And because the Illuminati are scientists they are very sneaky bastards that have extremly insane plans to overthrow the Vatican. I guess, just waiting for the Catholic Church to destroy itself wasn't sufficent enough for them. Because they are scientists, bad scientists. And they will stop at nothing and do whatever is in their powers to take over the Vatican. And once they managed that they will spread reason and progress throughout the world and scare everyone shitless I assume.

So I sat there, gaping at the screen and the unbelievable idiotic plot and dialogues thinking a two year old with crayons and a paper would be more imaginative then the makers of this thing. And I realized that even though painfully uncreative that they must be filthy rich bastards, because they could buy any actor for this stupid shit.

Oh, and then a miracle happened and I got saved. Saved by he time run off I could watch on that site. Praised be the need of internet-developers to earn money with barely legal pages. And screw movies which try to portray the great people at CERN and their amazing work as a bunch of lunatics fucking up the world.

/Rant over
